General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

Salzburg Ticket Service GmbH., hereinafter referred as operator, states the following general terms and conditions as the basis of its legal business activity for all business transactions in connection with internet bookings.

Ticket delivery and shipping and handling fees:
Tickets are dispatched by registered mail. The operator does not assume any liability for tickets lost in the mail.

Deposit of the tickets at the box office or at the hotel (downtown Salzburg only) there is a 6,00 Euro fee.

For online orders with pick up at the Salzburg Ticket Service office Mozartplatz 5, 5020 Salzburg there is a system fee of 4,00 Euros.

Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 06:00 pm
Saturday 9:00 am – noon
Sundays and bank holidays closed
(during the Summer Festival: Monday – Saturday 9:00 am – 07:00 pm, Sunday 10:00 am – 06:00 pm)

Tickets Loss:
In case of a loss, a replacement of tickets cannot be guaranteed.

Personal data as well as credit card and ATM card information is securely transmitted via the secure encryption method SSL and are not readable by third parties. The data is used exclusively for processing the booking and will not be revealed to any third parties.

Additional agreements and changes must always be confirmed in writing.

Cancellation of Tickets and Liability/Disclaimer:
A cancellation of paid tickets is not possible unless mandatory provisions of the Consumer Protection Act shall apply. It is expressly indicated that the consumer is entitled to the right of withdrawal, which is to be claimed within 7 working days after concluding the contract. In case the consumer states a cancelation according to the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, the resulting return expenses have to be covered by the consumer.  Furthermore it is pointed out, that returned tickets however will be taken back for resale on commission basis, a 20 % commission fee will be deducted from the selling price. The operator is merely the agent of the ticket(s) and not liable for the reimbursement of entrance fees in case of cancellations, however will seek to approach the promoter for refund. Furthermore the consumer is also not entitled to reimbursement of the expenses such as hotel accommodation, travel etc.
Any changes in program, cast and beginning times does not justify a change respectively a possible price reduction. There is no claim for reimbursement of any additional costs or expenses such as hotel accommodation travel etc.

Cancellation of Hotel Reservations:
It is explicitly pointed out that the consumer has the right to withdraw within 7 working days after concluding the contract. For hotel reservations made by the customers on the booking platform of the website, the customer agrees with these terms and conditions as specified and holds harmless from and against any claim against the “operator”.

Prices and Payment:
The sales prices apply as quoted in the offer; however it is being specified that prices are subject to change. The stated prices include a booking fee, which includes the VAT as well as any patronage, partnership and membership fees. Payments are due immediately and without any deductions when ordering or receiving the invoice. Any costs or other expenses incurred by the bank transfer will be charged to the customer.
